The AFL Sydney Umpiring group brought an end to their 2012 season with a gala ceremony last weekend.
Awards were shared on the evening with Nathan Elsworthy (Best Field Umpire) and Dean Garroway (Best AFL Sydney Field Umpire- pictured) receiving the top awards.
A number of umpires were also recognised for their long jeopardy, including Ken Ray (700 total games & 450 Premier Division games), Frank Kalayzich (450 Premier Division Games), Anton Lewis (350 total games) and Peter Humphries (300 total games).
AFL-listed boundary umpire, Michael Saunders received the AFL Umpire of the Year and Trainers Awards.
