What better way to fire up for the local Grand Finals or the start of the AFL finals this weekend by wearing your colours and supporting Footy Colours Day?
It's a day where you can wear your favourite footy team colours, all in the name of raising much needed funds for the Fight Cancer Foundation.
Thousands of people will be gearing up for the day to support those who are touched by cancer and support them with strength and couragement.
The day is for absolutley everyone-schools, companies, clubs, sporting and community groups and individuals will get together to raise funds for the Fight Cancer Foundation.
It doesn't matter whether you wear football gear, or soccer or rugby, they're all in it together to support the Fight Cancer Foundation.
You will be joining Michael Crocker – South Sydney Rabbitohs, Erik Paartalu – Brisbane Roar, Jack Trengove – Melbourne Football Club Captain and Phil Waugh – former New South Wales Waratahs Captain who are lending their support in 2012.
All Australians are encouraged to get into the spirit of Footy Colours Day and have fun by wearing their favourite team’s colours, organising a footy breakfast or morning tea, decorate the office or classroom, have a casual day, a footy trivia competition, treasure hunt, art competition or make up your own fun way to enjoy Footy Colours Day, make a donation and support the life saving work of Fight Cancer Foundation.
