THE Penrith Rams' season came to an end on Sunday with a 14.6 (90) to 10.7 (67) elimination-final loss to UTS at Blacktown International Sportspark.

In their first season in division one, the Rams made their club proud.
"We were very pleased to make the finals and we simply faced quality opposition and lost," club chairman Kevin Tate said.
"The boys performed well and UTS got on top in the third quarter. Dale Chivas, Adam Sharp, Matty Payne and Jay Edwards did well.
"The boys have been unsettled this year with the change of coach halfway through the season, so to still make the finals was fantastic."
The focus has already turned to next season.
"We had a few players overseas this year and in particular we missed Tim Cummins, who was playing cricket in Wales," Tate said.
"Tim was our top goalscorer last year and as well as him we had a few more boys missing as well.
"We'll be advertising for a new coach. With the returning boys I think we can challenge for a top-three position next season."
The Rams' division four side will play UTS in the preliminary final.
