The Moorebank Magpies AFL Club have achieved Level 3 Accreditation under the Good Sports Program.
The Program works to assist clubs achieve a safe and friendly environment by setting criteria that define alcohol management standards for clubs that serve and consume alcohol. Criteria is also set in areas such as smoking, safe transport and healthy food options.
AFL NSW/ACT Community Football Manager, Andrew Knott praised the Magpies’ achievement.
“We congratulate Moorebank Magpies in obtaining their Level 3 accreditation and, by way of this process, taking the steps to improve their overall club environment,” he said.
“AFL NSW/ACT encourages all clubs to strive towards developing an inclusive and safe club environment for their members and guests.”
