Entering The Ground
For all Grand Finals on Saturday an admission fee for spectators will be charged as follows:
Adults: $10.00
Children: 16 and under will be admitted free;
Note: No alcohol or glass containers are permitted into the venue. Bag checks are undertaken at the gates. Full canteen and bar facilities are available.
AFL Sydney Football Operations Manager, Garry Burkinshaw stated costs are behind the need to charge an admission fee.
“We understand there may be some inertia behind paying for admission but there are heightened costs when it comes to hosting finals,” Burkinshaw said.
“There are a multitude of expenses that need to be covered including ground, umpire and security fees.”
“At the end of the day, the admission fee is good value compared to other venues when you have access to a full day of entertainment with the ability to watch four games of football.”
