She's All Heart - INVITED TO NOMINATE
Is a woman the "heart and soul‟ of your soccer club? Melbourne Heart Football Club is inviting all soccer clubs to nominate one of their women volunteers for a special thank you, Nationals Member for Morwell Russell Northe said today.
Melbourne Heart Football Club will recognise some of the wonderful women volunteers contributing to their local soccer clubs during the 2012-13 season, through their She‟s All Heart program, said Mr Northe.
“Women play an integral part in our local clubs, and this is a fantastic initiative to recognise those dedicated mums, family and friends who put in a lot of hard work each week.
“It may be a volunteer working quietly in the background as a coach, on the committee, in the canteen or raising much needed funds.
“She may be a mum, she may have helped out for years or she may do the jobs no-one else wants to.”
A winner will be presented at a Melbourne Heart home game each week during the season. Each winner will receive a Melbourne Heart gift pack and be invited to bring her family to the game.
Each entrant will receive a certificate of recognition and go into the draw to win the major prize of an „inner sanctum‟ tour with a Melbourne Heart Football Club player and an invitation for two people to attend the Chairman‟s function at 7.30pm, Monday, March 11 2013, at the Melbourne Heart versus Adelaide United game at AAMI Park.
