The Bulldogs entered the season as an unknown, with player numbers low and a new look outfit. They have proved they have the talent, and it took them awhile to warm up, but they are running hard right now. They are still a show for finals and will look to finish the season off strong.
Best win - Their first win of the season must be at the forefront of their minds when they ran all over the Cats. But knocking off the lague leading Nomads a fortnight ago would have seen plenty of happy Dogs.
MVP - Their midfield has always been a strong unit and continues to play to a high standard. However, veteran Chris Gee has been a lone hand up front, carrying his team to victory on more than occasion this season. He is a close second in the Griffiths Medal and remains a chance to take the award at season's end.
Big games ahead - A stand alone fixture with the Nomads this weekend is pretty important, as they can put one foot firmly in the finals with a win. It will be an important visit to Narrabri to face the Saints in a homecoming for the Eagle boys as well.
