Passing of Anne Harris
Anne and Ada Harris stalwarts of Shepparton Basketball having been battling together a prolonged illness of lukemia which has finally taken Anne.
Both have represented the Shepparton Basketball communities along with their sons who were junior and senior gators. Both Anne and Ada were members of teams which took out championships representing the GSBA at a senior levels.
Both were teachers at Wanganui Secondary College guiding many of the youth of Shepparton through education over a number of years and outside of their employment they continued to guide many youngsters through sport.
Anne will be sadly missed and our hearts go out to Ada and the boys at this sorrowful time.
