The Southern Football League Inc. (SFL) has announced the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer Wayne Holdsworth.
After 6 years of outstanding service as the head of the League, the Board has accepted Holdsworth's resignation with regret. His duties will officially cease on 5 July 2012.
Since Holdsworth took the reins in 2006, the SFL has grown to 30 clubs, with 85 teams and close to 3,800 players now competing in the 2012 season.
"Wayne has been a faithful servant to and exemplary role model for our organisation for the last six seasons" said Chairman of the SFL Board, Mr Mark Seymour. "We have seen many positive initiatives brought to fruition during Wayne's tenure and we wish him every success in his future endeavours."
The SFL is now looking to fill the CEO position as soon as possible.
