Junior Girls Permit

To further build the junior girls competitions, the GSL would like to advise the following.

We will be introducing a 'permit' system allowing Junior Girls who are registered at a club that only has Open Women, to play for another club which provides for their age group.

A female player (junior girl player) who is currently registered to a GSL club in the open age Women’s competition and wishes to participate in the junior girls competition may be eligible to participate with another GSL Club, provided that her original club does not have a junior girls team in the competition.

To activate this option, the parent of the player, will need to apply to the GSL in writing, stating the reasons why they require a permit.

Please pass on this information at your club, and lets continue to encourage these girls to be involved.

Thank you again to those of you who have been very active in your involvement with the girls competition. Your contribution has been and will continue to be well worth it.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
