It has been a sizzling start for the Dalby Swans in season 2012, as their Under 12s, Under 14s and Under 16s sit a top of each of their respective ladders.
The Swans brought the Bombers to a halt in the Under12s, as Tom Matthews booted another bag of 8 goals, to take his season tally to 66. Dalby gave the young Bombers outfit a footballing lesson, flying to a 91point victory at Owen Street. It was similar results in both the 14s and 16s, as the powerhouse Swannies are firming as favourites to take out all three premiership Cups in 2012.
The Coolaroo are looking to stop the Dalby juggernaut, as they sit second to the Swans in the Under14s and Under16s. While the University Cougars sit second in the Under 12’s.
Coolaroo were too strong for the Lockyer Valley at Gold Park, as they Roos recorded wins in all three age divisions. The Roos ability to have a wide spread of goal kickers in each side was the difference. Coolaroo had 7 individual goal scorers in the 12s, while 10 players were able to get their number recorded on the score card in the 14s. The margin was only 31 points in the under16s the Roos were still able to have 7 individual goal scorers for the round 6 clash.
Stingers were too strong for the Hawks at Riddles Oval, as Easts ran out 77point victors. Jayden Amon and Calan Wilson ran riot at Riddles and were the best two for the Stingers.
Highfields were too strong for Pittsworth in both the u12s and u16s.
