NAB AFL Auskick is the Australian Football League’s key introductory program for primary school aged children and their families.
Queensland Auskick Co-ordinator Stuart Seager said that Auskick is all about teaching boys and girls the skills of AFL in a friendly, safe environment.
“The rules are modified to give children a really gentle introduction to AFL,” said Seager.
“Parents are encouraged to join in all the activities and the kids' faces just light up when they see mum or dad having a kick or taking a mark.”
“We have around 700 centres throughout Queensland and the 2012 NAB AFL Auskicker of the Year competition is a great way to celebrate the program and showcase our participants.”
