INDUCTION PROGRAM
The Induction Program is a two day training forum conducted by the Victorian Country
Football League (VCFL) specifically catering for new administrators.
The program aims to present an insight into the skills and knowledge required to successfully administer a country football organisation.
The VCFL Management Team will present in a relaxed environment. Group discussion and interaction is encouraged throughout the program as you learn how the VCFL operates while building new relationships with fellow attendees.
The social aspect of the program includes a group dinner for all attendees along with
representatives of VCFL staff. The dinner provides great opportunity for you to create your own networks with other country football administrators who will face the same challenges in their time in football.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Gain a sound understanding on how the VCFL operates for the benefits of all affiliates
Establish the role of each VFCL Manager and determine how they can help you
Build relationships with VCFL staff
Build relationships with other affiliates from around the state where you can share ideas that may assist you with the running of your organisation
Develop, build and improve your country football administration skills
WHO WILL BENEFIT
All new league and umpiring association administrators (began within the last 18 - 24 months)
New club Presidents, Treasurers or Secretaries (began within the last 18 - 24 months)

FINANCE – Steven Smith (Finance Department Manager) Finance and Budgeting Tax Compliance and Operating costs Player Payments
FOOTBALL OPERATIONS - Brett Connell (Operations Department Manager) Rules and Judiciary (VCFL Rules, VCFL Appeals) Representatives Football (ACFC, Country Championship, U19, U15 V/Line Cup, Grain Corp Junior Carnivals ) Netball and Coaching
FACILITIES and PLANNING – Shayne Ward (Affiliates and Facilities Development Manager) IT system (Player Registration Program and Database) Forward planning and objective setting Key funding opportunities for facilities, grounds, courts, lighting, etc Project examples including lighting, drought proofing, social/change facilities Dealing with all levels of Government Where to get help when you need it

This program is available to all affiliates, but will be limited to a maximum of 12 people.
Spots for this program will fill quickly therefore I urge any interested leagues, clubs or umpiring associations to apply ASAP
The VCFL will cover accommodation, meals and other costs of this program as it is part of your organisation’s VCFL affiliation fees.
