First Referee Course for 2012
FFV is pleased to announce a new Level 4 referee course for the Latrobe Valley.
Referees are important to football, and with the game growing rapidly your game needs you to pick up a whistle and let the games begin! Whether you’re a current or past player, a coach, a club official, a mother or a father – refereeing is for you. Refereeing is a fun way to keep active and involved in football plus you can earn lots of TAX FREE $$$$$ through the year. Sure beats flipping burgers or checking-out groceries!
Please note: this course could be the only one held in Gippsland in 2012 and so anyone keen to become a referee this season is urged to make themselves available on the dates and times outlined below.
This course is for new referees and unqualified referees. Any interested person must be at least 13 years of age to enrol in this program.
Dates and Times:
Wednesday February 1 from 6pm – 9pm
Wednesday February 8 from 6pm – 9pm
Wednesday February 15 from 6pm – 9pm (including exam)
Wednesday February 22 from 6pm – 9pm (bring whistle and playing boots/shoes)

Course Fee: $125 which includes:
- Hardcopy of the 2012 Laws of the Game book (value $15)
- Green Shirt Program referee kit (value $80 plus) including shirt, socks, flags, whistle, notepad, coin, bag,red and yellow card set
- First season of referee registration (value $100)
- Mentoring within local referee group on actual appointments
