OVERALL COMMENTS:

We found ourselves outclassed by much better teams in the first three games. Our last game against Benalla was a much better hit out, as they were of similar standard to us. It was a game where we could have won and can certainly take a lot of positives from.

Overall, the girls are continuing to show improvement and are beginning to implement some plays they are working on at training. In all four games the scores didn’t reflect the effort and teamwork of the girls, the opposition just seemed to finish off better than us. It was fairly even up and down the court, some basic fundamentals let us down on occasions. There were many times the girls applied lots of pressure on the ball and in defence. The girls need to consistently maintain the pressure and aggression for the whole game. They can all hold their heads up high for always giving 100% and never giving up trying. There are many girls with some very bruised knees!! Bring on Bendigo!
