AFL 9's Launched in Toowoomba

The day started with an address by AFLQ 9’s coordinator Jake Anson who ventured up from Brisbane for the event. Then, will all rules and regulations covered, the players were sorted into teams and played a 40 minute game. The launch was a big success and it was great to see so many people enjoying what is sure to be a fast growing sport on the Darling Downs.

There will be another Come and Try day held this Friday 2^nd Dec 5-6:15pm (game starts at 5:20) Godsall Street, Queens Park. If you are interested come along even if you are just there to watch, all welcome. Remember this game is for Men and Women and we want to see more Women in attendance this Friday. All information regarding registration & nomination for the official 2012 competition will be explained and handed out this Friday.
