The Under 18 Toowoomba Crows program no longer exists and from 2012 onwards will be known as the Under 18 Darling Downs Crows Development program.
With all new coaching and administration staff in place, DDAFLQ development staff thought it was a good time to revamp the whole program. As of 2012 the program will now be known as the Darling Downs Crows Development program, to try and attract more regionally based players from across the Darling Downs.
Coming off two bad performance seasons (2010, 2011) in the SportsReady Cup, Development Staff thought it was time to refresh the whole program and start 2012 with a fresh new look.
"The Crows system has been a fantastic development tool for the region, but like most things needed to give it a new look and try and attract more interest from right across the region," explained newly appoint coach Jeff Neumann.
The Crows have officially started pre-season on Thursday afternoons at Queens Park, Godsall Street and all are welcome. Crows will continue their preseason in the New Year and will start training at Rockville Oval from Wednesday 18th January. Darling Downs will again compete in the States premier Under 18 competition, contesting the Division 1 SportsReady Cup in 2012.
