The start to season 2012 has official started with over 130 eager juniors from across the region signing onto the Darling Downs AFL Queensland Pre-Season program which kicked off at the start of November.
The new program has been put together by the Brisbane Lions Academy and participants have been enjoying the new challenge of the pushing themselves to the limits. The program not only focuses on football development but also personal development.
All participants have been put through sessions that have included; A testing day, Personal Trainer taking them through combat style training and last week had a specialist sprint technique coach. In the lead up to the Christmas break, participants will focus more on the fundamental skills of the game both basic and positional work.
