Competition details
AFL 9s is the new nine-a-side, touch version of Australian football that everyone can play. Alternative rules make it a social game that is easy to learn, safe to play and lots of fun! For men and women of all ages.
The Toowoomba based competition will run 2 ‘Come and Try Days’ in November / December 2011 as a lead into an 8 week AFL 9’s competition run Jan- March 2012.
Come and Try Information
Where: Queens Park Toowoomba (Godsall Street)
When: Friday 25th November & Friday 2nd December
Times: 5 p.m. arrival for 5:20 p.m. ball up
Cost: Free
Age / gender requirements: Mixed male / female competition Min. 14 years old to adult
Game details: 9 a side Mixed (minimum 3 of each gender)
2 x 20 minute halves

Toowoomba 9’s Advantages
•Excellent fields: The Queens Park (Godsall St) fields are in excellent condition and they are easy to access from all areas of the Toowoomba and surrounding suburbs
•Social Atmosphere: At Toowoomba 9’s we cater for the social player. We like to keep it fair and fun.
•No late games: All games are at 5:20 p.m. and will finish by 6:10 p.m.
