OVERALL COMMENTS:

Game 1 – Gators vs Wodonga A: Slow start but ran offence well in second half and stepped up defensive pressure. Almost stole the game at the end.

Game 2 – Gators Vs Wangaratta: Basket for basket for the entire game with the biggest margin being 4 points. Improved effort defensively and again the offence was well run but missed lay ups were to prove costly in the end in a 2 point loss.

Game 3 – Gators vs Echuca: Gators skipped out to an early lead with aggressive defense and excellent transition into offence. However team fouls allowed Echuca back into the game. Well fought out by the boys in the end for a 4 point win.

Game 4 – Gators vs Wodonga B: Reasonable first half saw the Gators lead by 6. Pick and roll was introduced into the offence with fair success. A tight second half eventually resulted in a 4 point win.

Overall: Good first up tournament where all players contributed over the weekend. Luke Grey was outstanding all weekend. New offence (flex) was run very well but lots of room for improvement defensively.
