All 9 clubs have a number of players that could take out this years medal, though I take a look into who has been mentioned in the clubs best players over the 17rounds.
Warwick Redbacks - Brendan Iles - Reigning Holman Medalist and has had another outstanding 2011 season. Iles has polled in the Reddies top six, ten of his fifteen games this season. Brendan is the number 1 user of the football at Warwick and stand-outs, will poll well in the vote count, top 3 finish.
South Toowoomba Bombers - Tom Zilm - Has played more of a midfield role in 2011 and wins alot of footy for Souths and would stand out to the umpires. Zilm has played 12 games and being named 9 times in the best 6 for the Bombers. Top 10 finish looks a definite, may struggle with Webb, Englart and Neumann possibly taking votes off him.
Toowoomba Tigers - Blake Camporeale - Blake has been the most consistent for the Tigers and statistics say he should be the top Tiger on the night. Classy midfielder who would also stand-out to the umpires. Will battle with Adams and Turpin who have also stood out for the reigning premiers.
University Cougars - Luke Brumley - With his speed and flair, will attract votes on this alone and also take into account as the key midfielder who wins a-lot of centre clearances. Stats say he will be the stand-out Cougar on the night and should poll well.
Coolaroo - Tom Rudolph - The former Redlands Bomber, back to some vintage form and is the hot favourite to take Iles crown. Has only missed 1 game this season, though Alex Horsfall maybe his only challenger from the Roo's and may take vitol votes off Rudolph.
Highfields Lions - Jarrod Hills - The goal scoring, hard running midfield is the favourite from Highfields to poll the most votes from the second year club. He will have a tough time as Clinton Watts and Zac Chimes will also feature regularly for the Lions on the voting cards. Definitely a smokey for this years medal.
Dalby Swans - James Kratzmann - Has been one of the most consistent performers over the past few years and probably unlucky not to win the Holman in 2008. Only played 9 games this season, may hurt him in the overall result but has been named in the best for all 9 games for the Swannies, he will certainly have to be the top Swan on the night, going by the Stats.
Goondiwindi Hawks - Andy Thomas - The young 21year old has been in superb form and maybe a chance at this years medal. With the Hawks finishing towards the bottom may starve him of the 3 and 2 votes, should collect quite a few 1's. Definitely Goondiwindi's best all year.
Lockyer Valley Demons - Chris Brian - If Lockyer Valley had won more games, he would be the favourite to win the medal but unfortunately with results not going Lockyer Valley's way this year, they will more then likely struggle to poll well. Chris has had a fantastic season and top 10 finish isn't out of reach.
