Moroni Warriors is one of the High School who participating in the CACL 2011 in the Division 2 age groups.  They competed with community clubs in Tarawa for the CACL Champ 2011.  It is also one of the High School who have a high quality of facilities compared with other school playing ground in Tarawa and also get involves alot with KBF major tournament/event.  Some of the schools such as KGV and EBS and others like to joint as well but they're not ready to participate this year.  KBF was encouraging other schools to participate in near future event which a 3on3 and especially in the inter-school championship.

Therefore, according to the ranking/ladder Moroni became the number one team after a completion of the rounds and who qualified to compete in the final.  On Monday at 10am 11/07/11, they played against TUBA 2 for the semifinal leading the score until the 4th quarter of the game 81, 39.  Coach Turei from Moroni congratulate his team for their effort through the round until they are qualified for the grand final.  On Tuesday 12/07/11 2pm, Moroni opened the game with BTACY team from Teaoraereke club who playing a tight score until the last 5 minutes Moroni leading 7 points (76) against BTACY (61).

After the game KBF and NBDO announced to all KBF members for the next event and together with the inter-school championship which will be running in two months now.  Moroni Warriors and other schools are looking forward to participate in the inter-school competition.
