Coolangatta joined Nimbin this week as withdrawals from the remainded of the season due to lack of numbers & injuries. This has meant a revision of the draw for the remaining four teams but is does make for two good games each week.
Ballina travel to Lismore's Mortimer Oval to take on the Swans in what should be a tight game. Lismore's atrocious kicking last time they met (4.21) saw them go down but since then they have had a strong win over the Magpies and have inflicted Tweed Coast's first defeat for twelve months. Ballina on the other hand put in a strong second half against the Magpies last week and will go into the game confident. Lismore are coming off a week off and will start favourites to get the points.
In the other game, Byron host the Tigers at Bangalow. The Magpies were good for the first half last week before the lack of an interchange bench & fitness let the Bombers finish over the top of them. Tweed wre well beaten by Lismore in their last outing and will be looking to re-establish themselves as the team to beat for the flag. If Byron's injury list has improved and they can put a full team together they will take it up to Tweed Coast but after a tough game last week & with Tweed Coast having had a week off the Tigers should get the points.
