Toowoomba Primary School AFL Competition

The students played with great spirit, developing their kicking, handballing and marking skills, whilst working as a team and having fun. One week was rained out and on two of the other weeks the students thrived in playing in a bit of drizzle.

Thanks to the staff from Darling Downs AFL for their support and to all the teachers who worked with their students over the term. Both the Junior A and Senior A Prep teams consistently played well against all the other schools over the term and won both the grand finals comfortably.

Junior A

Toowoomba Prep 8-12-60 defeated St Mary’s 2-0-12

Senior A

Toowoomba Prep 9-7-61 defeated St Mary’s 3-0-18

Goalkickers: Prep; Daniel Cover 2, Dougall Munro 2, Harry Oates 2, Frazer Suffren 1, Luke Peters 1, Dougall Stallman 1.

Goalkickers: St Mary's; T Haynes 2, Daniel Pirie-Thomas 1.
