AUG FIRST ROUND SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

Both teams arrived at the Australian University Games (AUG's) with significantly depleted lineups after the customary last minute player pullouts. The men's squad was reduced to a squad of 6 after 3 top line player pulled out within a week. The women's squad was also reduced to 7 players after study commitments got the better of several of the team members.

Not to be put off, both teams committed themselves to give their best for the uni in true Trober spirit.

The men were reasonably happy with their draw with the knowledge that a top 3 finish would see them progress to the 2nd round.
