MILLICENT BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION’S

Jasmin Howe has won the MAUREEN LANE MEMORIAL AWARD for 16 year and under junior club person.

Maureen (Reeny) was a long serving life member of Millicent Basketball who dedicated her life to the sport of Basketball, until she had no more to give. In her honor and memory this award is given each year to a dedicated junior person in recognition of their contributions towards making Millicent Basketball better.

Jasmin Howe has provided Millicent Basketball with outstanding service in the past 12 months and she is a very deserving winner of this prestigious award. Jasmin has contributed to Basketball in Millicent in many ways. This includes coaching junior teams in the Friday Night competition and assisting with training groups and camps, refereeing many games both junior and senior basketball as well as helping at the Primary School Round Robin Days and at the Millicent Junior Tournament, helping at working bees and with the resurfacing of the courts during January, assisting in the stadium canteen at various events, assisting with admin duties and organizing stadium records as well as being a dedicated player in both junior and senior competitions.

The local Association has been very lucky to have Jasmin working hard for the Association as she has given up many hours of her time putting back in the sport.
