WALTERS WINS STATE AWARD
Dynamic Under 16 basketballer Brianna Walters won the Sally-Jane Allen Memorial Trophy, which is awarded to the best Under 16 girl at the annual SA Country Basketball Championships. A selection panel of independent state coaches watched the Under 16 Division 1 games and decided on the winner.
Walters played very well as on court playmaker for the Lakers and featured consistently in the team’s top scorers throughout Championships.
