Into the competitions fifth year, Our Lady of the Southern Cross College have made it five from five in the competition taking out their fifth title last Friday.
The competition has gone from strength to strength with fifteen teams involved in this years competition. Schools taking on the names of AFL clubs, played in a 6 week round robin competition to determine the number 1 AFL primary school in the region.
It was the OLOSCC Demons that stood tall amongst all the other teams and out played the OLOSCC Cats and Dalby SS Bombers in the 3-way Grand-Final. The most surprizing aspect for the Demons was that the whole side were all grade 6 students and were able to defeat two sides in the Grand-final that were all grade 7 students. An achievement in itself and all are to be congratulated.
