LYVNA Have A Day Out At Mountain District
LYVNA Rep Teams had a strong first tournament at Mountain District.
We had nine teams representing our Association in 11U, 13U and 15U age groups.
Of the six teams that could play finals, we walked away with two Premiers (13-1 and 13-2), two Runners-Up (15-1 and 15-3) and two Semi-Finalists (15-2 and 13-3). Our Semi-Finalists were knocked out by other LYVNA teams, which prevented us from having all six 15U and 13U teams play off in Grand Finals.
Our 11U age group also performed very well.
11-1 were undefeated and ended the day on top of their group with 7 wins and a percentage of 1085%. In the same group, 11-2 finished 5th with 5 wins and 2 losses.
Our 11-3 went without a win but were competitive in all but 2 games and improved as they day went on and very nearly won their last game. They showed some very encouraging signs and will improve as the year progresses.
A successful start to what is hopefully a successful year.
