Under 12's
Lachlan Pallot's 2 goals for Highfields against Uni Cougars, was enough to get the Lions the first points of Round 2 fixtures at Kratzke Oval. It wasn't all one way traffic though classy Cougars players in Bani-Freeman, Haddad and Potter all put in for a young Uni outfit. The Cherry brothers and Sheath were outstanding setting up a lot of attacking raids and this help set up the 26 point victory of the Cougars at home.
Coolaroo, Dalby and South Toowoomba all had big wins over Warwick, Goondiwindi and Lockyer Valley. Dalby, South Toowoomba and Highfields all sit on top the ladder with 8 points each, while Coolaroo and Warwick sit just behind on 4 points.
Under 14's
A four goal third quarter gave the East Toowoomba Stingers the upperhand as they recorded a 11.12 (78) to 7.5 (47) win over the Power in Pittsworth. Kennedy, Gorring and Carnahan were prolific for Pittsworth but it was the class and silky skills of Collison, Mengel, Wilson and Roberts for the Stingers that proved to be the difference.
Dalby proved too good for an improving Lockyer Valley outfit, while the high-flying Bombers took down the Goondiwindi Hawks at home. Out at Warwick the Roo's accounted for the Reddies in a big win and the Cougars Roared at Highfields as they took the four points against the Lions.
Under 16's
Warwick's under 16's ran all over the young Coolaroo side at Slade Park as the Reddies ran out the game better of the two sides. Greene-Galloway, Tate and Drayton stood tall as they helped Warwick go further into the top 4. Coolaroo's Mason, Miller and Bellert were outstanding as the Roo's went down 12.7 (79) to Warwicks 17.7 (109)
Reigning premiers the Swans recorded a big win of the Demons, while the Bombers closed out round 2 fixtures with an impressive win over East Toowoomba.
