AFL Sydney Umpires have a dedicated strength and conditioning coach and medical staff to keep them in top shape. AFL Sydney Field Umpiring rates start at $80 for an Under 18’s game, and can reach $167 for an AFL Sydney Premier Division game. AFL Sydney Boundary Umpires can earn between $40 and $105 while the Goal Umpires can earn between $40 and $80 depending on the grade umpired. All better then paying for a gym membership!
Develop your Personal Skills
Umpiring can build your confidence, help you make important decisions under pressure, and improve your interpersonal and communication skills. You will not get better training in all these areas than by being an Umpire.
