The South Toowoomba Bombers and University Cougars kick off the annual AFL Darling Downs Preseason Cup at 9:00am as the five competing teams; South Bombers, University Cougars, Coolaroo, Highfields Lions and hosting club the Lockyer Valley Demons all compete to hold aloft the Lockyer Agronomics Cup.
The Preseason into it's 8th year and based around the elite AFL preseason competition. Teams will play modified super games of 2x15minute halves. The top two placed sides after the round robin stages will advance to the grand-final and play for the Lockyer Agronomics Cup.
Competition starts at 9:00am on Saturday 5th March, draw below;

With the preseason cup kicking off at 9:00 tomorrow (Sat 5th March) at the Gatton Showgrounds, Spencer Street Gatton, competition will be close as the GRANDFINAL winning side will take home the cash prize of $1000, to help kick start there 2011 campaign.
