New keyways at Stadium

There may have been a break in the season for players at the Millicent stadium, but during that time, a dedicated band of volunteers have spent hours at the stadium resurfacing the courts and changing the keyways to the new style to be in line with the FIBA rules.

Peter Seebohm, Jenny Herbert, Jamie Cooper, Jasmin Howe were tireless workers in the 2 week transformation and were assisted by Lyn Houlihan, Tony Sorrell, Michael Schultz, Cathy Schultz, Clint Gallio, Tania Millard and Sally Houlihan.

The group had to mark out the new keyways, under coat, sand back, vacuum, wash, mask up and prepare the courts before the paint and lacquer could be applied. Once the painting was completed, the lines had to be re-marked and the the 3 point line adjusted.

The courts are currently unusable but will be available to play and train on in late January.
