TEAM ALLEN WON THE SUPER LEAGUE COMPETITION 2010
Andy Allens Super League team has won the 2010 grand final. In what was a very close contest against the East Maitland Newsagency Sub Sonics. At fulltime the score was locked at 64-64 with Sub Sonics looking the strong team going in to short break considering they had no reserves. Unfortunately it wasnt to be for the Sub Sonics as the Allens finished the stronger and going on to win 85-75.
On behalf of Maitland Basketball Association I would like to congratulate not only the Grand finalist but all the teams that participated in the Super League Comp, bring on 2011. If we can have the same close contests that we saw this year it will be another bumper season. Keep your eyes posted on the website for the next drafting dates.
