South Coast Taipans Youth team clinched the Super League title on Saturday with two rounds still remaining in the comp. A comfortable 4-2 win over their closest rivals extended their 100% record and placed them out of reach of the chasing pack.
Congratulations to all the Youth squad and also the 16’s Boys that have played up throughout the season.
Congratulations also to Coach, April Van Woerkom, who has guided the lads to this great achievement and kept their feet on the ground.
A few of the boys were in the same situation last season for the under 16’s and went on to loss in the grand final. Hopefully April can get the team focused and go that one step further this year.
