The Toowoomba Crows have been competing in the AFL SportsReady U18 competition for the last 13 years and in recent times have risen to be one of the premier teams in the competition with a grand final appearance in 2004, 2008 and 2009 seasons. In 2009 the Toowoomba Crows took out the Division 2 North Grand Final overcoming a 5 goal deficit in the final quarter. This is the first premiership for the Toowoomba Crows since joining the competition way back in 1997. This competition provides our local talent with the opportunity to showcase their skills at the highest level possible and further develop their game against quality opposition. It also provides an opportunity for players to be viewed by AFL talent scouts who regularly attend these games.
The Toowoomba Crows are looking for a assistant coach with the following attributes:
- Currently a holder of a Level 1 Coaching Accreditation or able to do so
- Currently a holder of a Queensland working with Children Blue card or able to do so
- Enthusiastic team member
- Able to Volunteer
- Australian Rules Football background
The successful applicant would be required to:
- Assist with Wednesday and Friday training sessions
- Able to assist during games of Sunday
- Be available for administration and coaching meetings
