MUSTANGS IN SCHOOL PROGRAM CONTINUES TO FIND TALENT

Donaldson Coal supported "Mustangs in School Program" continues to find talented basketballer around Maitland. Players that haven't even played the game before are enjoying the coaching clinics that Amy & Kellie Fox have been running in the local schools thanks to the support of Donaldson Coal and Newcastle & Hunter Youth Development Trust. This week the Fox sisters have visited Telarah Public School, Hunter Valley Grammar and Paterson Public School. Delivering a variety of skill based and fun games that also teaches the basics of basketball is all part of the clinics.  Next week the Fox sisters will visit Greta Public school the same schools to further development their skills and interest in basketball. Geta will get a super clinic to help their students get to the same level as the other schools. "Mustangs in School Program" is part of the development program that offers a transition from school basketball fun and learning to playing in our local competition and then hopefully becoming a representative player of Maitland Basketball.

If you wish your school was part of the Donalson Coal "Mustangs in School Program" contact our stadium staff expressing your interest and we will contact the school for you.
