AFL Cairns has a rare and exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our small team in the position of Football Operations Coordinator.
The Football Operations Coordinator will be involved with ensuring AFL Cairns, AFL Cairns Juniors and AFL Cairns Women’s League and their associated programs are operated in a professional and appropriate manner.
The key duties of the positions include the day-to-day operation of AFL Cairns Juniors and AFL Cairns Women’s League, including fixturing, results, registrations & clearances; communicating with and distributing information to member Clubs; work cooperatively with Junior Development department.
The successful applicant will have highly developed communication skills; a thorough understanding of Australian Rules football; and previous experience in both a sporting environment and working with volunteers.
