U14 Storm Girls Runners Up at Warrnambool Seaside Classic
Bellarine Storm into Warrnambool and take out the runners up trophy in the U14 girls division 1.
After a great pre qualifying stage where amongst others we beat Warrnambool by 26 points, a team we had never beaten before, we went into a semi final against Colac confident of success. We were good enough to get over Colac by 6 points and faced Millicent the other undefeated team in the division 1 final. As expected it was a tough and physical game from the start and we had our noses in front for most of the game unfortunately with 10 seconds to go they hit the front for the first time in the game and we were unable to score with the last play of the day. The girls all performed really well and should all hold their heads high, with grading about to start for the VJBL season all looks good for a successful year.
