ARARAT EAGLES FIND HOME FOR 2011
At the VCFL Board meeting over the weekend the VCFL Board of Directors considered the Appeal application from the Ararat Eagles Football Netball Club against the Mininera & District Football League’s decision to not admit the club for season 2011.
After considering the written submissions from both parties the Appeal was upheld thus paving the way for the Ararat Eagles to join the MDFL in 2011.
WorkSafe VCFL Chief Executive Officer Glenn Scott said, “It has been a lengthy process however the matter is now concluded. The VCL Board have considered all aspects of the submissions by both parties and have been satisfied that the Mininera & District Football League is an appropriate home for the Ararat Eagles for 2011 and beyond. We wish the club and the League all the best for the future.”
This decision now sees the Mininera & District Football League with eleven teams for 2011.
