KBF Referee and Coaching Course - (L0)

The Kiribati Basketball Federation has officially conducted Refereeing and Coaching course to interested and keen volunteers from Tarawa community and together with the Betio Town Council community to participate in the training.  The training course was a two day course commencing on Friday 10th September and successfully completed on Saturday 11st September 2010. 

Purposes

The main reason for the course is to train volunteers to be as KBF qualifies and default officials before the huge 6th 2010 National Championship - Te Runga.  It is reasonable to them as FIBA Oceania is to be visiting Kiribati as well for the purpose to train officials reaching the potential level of conducts to meets the National Level criterior.

Participants

During the course there were 10 people attended the training, including 4 trainess from BTC (3 males/1 females) and 5 trainess from TUC (3 males/2 females). 

Accredidate Officils - L0

After the two day course, there were 6 officials who has been appointed and qualifies to be as the KBF referees to the upcoming National Champ.

The course has not been conducted only for Refereeing but it is also conducting the Score benching course practically carried out with Refereeing course.  As a results, they all both flexiable and capable to officiate games.
