Congratulations to our State Titles Girls!

The V/Line State Titles is one of the biggest events on the Netball Victoria calendar.  It is where the best players in Victoria compete and LYVNA was incredibly well represented this year.

A BIG Congratulations to Emily Chettle, Maddy Smith, Jackie Cullimore, Kirralee Luiyf and Tori Starling who played at the Victorian V/Line State Titles on the weekend.  These girls did a great job for the region being the first 15U Dandenong Valley Regional team to make finals at the state titles in a long time.

THe 15U team, coached by Clare Grimes, finished the rounds 4th on the ladder, and played in the semi final against the undefeated top team. Unfortunately, they went down in the semi, but they got a lot closer to the very strong Western team than the Runners-Up did in the Grand Final.

The Dandenong Valley Open Regional team won the Title, with a brilliant performance over the weekend.  6 players from the Open team were our very own LYVNA past players  including Ella Priestly, Sarah Hogan, Melissa Martinov, Katie Wilson, Lauren Tesserero and Rachel Hickey.  This whole team was a pleasure to watch, combing incredible skills with determination and amazing team work.

The 17U team, coached by Robyn Faram, also had 2 LYVNA players, Morgan Wyatt and Riley Gentle.  Unfortunately Riley was injured and couldn't take part, but Morgan put in a great performance over the two days.  (even with a broken finger)

Well done to all involved.  It was great to see so many representatives from LYVNA, past and present, representing the Region against the top netballers in Victoria.
