The Burger King Breakers are launching the 2010-11 season with an Open Day for the whole family at the North Shore Events Centre on Sunday, October 10.

The day will include basketball clinics with our Community Coaches, the Pepsi Max Breaker Girls taking dance clinics, special deals on Breakers merchandise and season tickets, and the chance to get autographs from all the Burger King Breakers.

The Breakers will also be taking to the court in the final hit out before the season begins on October 16 against the Sydney Kings. The Breakers will be taking on the Bartercard All Stars, an invitational team made up of some of the best talent from the Bartercard NZ NBL plus some of New Zealand best young talent from the Junior Tall Blacks - a team selected to showcase some of the talent New Zealand basketball has to offer.

The best part of the Open Day and the All Stars exhibition game is that entry is by gold coin donation to support the community work of the Basketball Development Trust - so fans can get to see the Breakers in action for as little as $1! This is a great chance for fans to get down to the NSEC and see the Breakers in action before they get into the real business of winning a championship.
