Stadium improvements in progress
The Murray Bridge basketball community will welcome a number of improvements to the stadium for the upcoming Junior Tournament and Summer Season.
Repainting of the inside and outside of the stadium is well underway and improvements to the clubrooms and referee's room are also in progress. A new display cabinet has been installed in the clubrooms for safe storage of memorabilia.
The upgrade of playing infrastructure should commence later in the year and be completed by Christmas. The Association has received an $8000 grant from the Office for Recreation and Sport Active Club Program towards replacing the backboards on courts one and two. Furthermore, a quote has been approved to have court three resurfaced.
Volunteers are sought to help lessen the load on those who have generously committed their time so far on these projects. If you are interested in providing assistance please contact Lisa at the stadium on 8531 0755.
