COIN TOSS HOLDS 100 YEARS OF HISTORY
Next weeks Division 1, 2 & 3 senior Grand Final
will commence with the toss of a scarce 100 year old King Edward the seventh
coin. The pennies commemorate the last time British coins were issued in
Australia – 100 years ago in 1910.
The winning team in each division will be presented
with the coin encased in a plush jarrah box inscribed to mark the occasion as a
memento of the Grand Final win.
The coin toss is sponsored by the Australian
Bullion Company and the Universal Rare Coin and Banknote group of companies.
