The first game of the weekend, between BITS and GLADSTONE, is a battle to see who will make the final spot in the top four.
BITS have won the two encounters between the teams so far this year and will be hoping to continue the trend this weekend. It should be a teriffic game, both teams expecting to be competing in the finals at the start of the year.
The contest will be won in the midfield. If BITS can control the stoppages as they have in their previous meetings then they should prove too strong, however at their best the Muddies can match it with just about any team in the competition.
The second game of the weekend between PANTHERS and YEPPOON doesn't have too much riding on it. Unless Panthers get beaten by in excess of 30 goals and other results go against them, they will be playing finals.
Both sides will be looking to get through this one without injury, preparing themselves for the run at the finals. Yeppoon bounced back last week and will be looking to continue this form if they can. The Panthers are without Joel Ralph which may make it a big ask for them.
The final game of the round has GLENMORE at home to BROTHERS. It appears to be a pretty easy game on paper for Brothers, first against last. The Bulls will be out to prove something, having slipped from third half way through the year to bottom of the table.
Brothers will be hoping to secure their 13th successive win, an impressive effort given they began the season with consecutive losses.
