In another close count and just like the Under 10s, the TDJFL has two winners for the UNder 12 Best & Fairest, Riley Livingstone of Southside and Jacob Peterson of City Juniors, both polling 24 Votes.
It was an extremely tight race all the way to the end of Round 14, as seven players finished wtihin 3 votes of each other, with two players, Kade Duncan from TEDAS and Tristan Turpin of Churchill only one vote away from making it a three or four way tie.
With the votes counted for Rounds 1-8, the Leaderboard looked like: Riley Livingstone Southside 15 Votes, Nathan Catherwood West End 14 Votes, Michael Ryan West End, Kade Duncan TEDAS & Tristan Turpin Churchill, all on 13 Votes (Jacob Peterson was on 10).
Some of the boys obviously played some outstanding footy in Rounds 9-12, as Jacob started his run with 9 votes to move into the top five, which looked like: Riley Livingstone 24 Votes, Nathan Catherwood 22 Votes, Jacob Peterson City Juniors 19 Votes, Fletcher Ormrod Combined Saints 19 Votes and Tristan Turpin on 18 Votes.
In Round 13, Riley Livingstone was out of the country, so he knew he wasn't going to be polling votes in the game against TEDAS, whihc saw Kade Duncan collect the 3 votes. Fletcher Ormrod picked up one vote, whihc would end his challenge for the trophy, Jacob Peterson collected 3 votes to move him in to equal second, while Nathan failed to collect any votes against City Juniors.
Riley remained on 24 Votes when his game was read out for Round 14, Tristan Turpin collected 3 votes for his efforts in the last game, Justin Little picked up consecutive BOG honours in Rounds 13 & 14 to move him into equal third, Kade Duncan collected 3 votes from the Umpires, leaving him as a runner up again (2008), and on the last card read out, Jacob Peterson was awarded 2 votes by the Umpires, meaning that both Jacob and Riley finished on 24 Votes and joint winners for 2010.
