I give up. From know on in I give the big margins.
Game 1- The Eagles are back in their Nest and after last week they will be happy to be so. It appears they played well in patches but the third quarter killed them. The Nomads copped a kick in round 1 and had the bye to think about it in round 2. I hear the Eagles played OK, they are just short a few players. The Nomads need to lift for this game and will be ruing the fact that it will take until round 4 before they get a home game. Eagles by 60 points.
Game 2- The Cats have not won a game since before 2009 and after getting a spanking at the hands of Bullies last week, at the Cattery, things aren't looking to good. The Kangaroos on the other hand have kicked the Dogs and scraped in against the Swans. It all points to another hiding to nothing for the Cats but a little birdie tells me the Roo's have a wedding this weekend and will be very short of numbers, who in their right mind gets married in the footy or cricket seasons. So this could be the Cats best chance to get a win in who knows how long. Cats by 1 point.
Game 3- Trolling the archives on the CETAFL web site the games between the Dogs and the Saints at the Kennel have been controversial to say the least. Well who knows what is going happen this time. The Dogs copped a hit in round 1 and bound back in round 2 in a big way. The Saints jumped out of the blocks with a big win over the Eagles in round 2 after the bye in round 1. This will be the match of the round and it is hard to go against the all powerful Saints but it is at the Kennel and the Dogs are back on track. Bullies by 3 points.
The Swans have the bye this week and at 1 and 1 after a tough game against the Kangaroos will take the weeks rest to prepare for round 4.
Until next week yibbida yibbida thank your mother for the rabbits.
