The Toowoomba Crows made an impressive start to the 2010 Under 18 AFL Queensland Division 1 competition, over running Coolangatta AFC by 42 points. In their historic first game in Queenslands premier Under 18 competition, the Crows recorded a 11.12 (78) to 4.8 (32) win, in what was a promising start to the 2010 season.
Both Toowoomba and Coolangatta gained entry for the first time in the Division 1 competition in 2010 and joined a expanded super division of 12 teams.
Fullback Matthew Waltisbuhl was impressive all day with his rebound 50's and keeping his opponent goal-less for the game. Midfielders Michael Langton and Josh Sugden were out-standing for the Crows, winning clearance after clearance and setting up a-lot of the Crow's goals for the game. Joseph Fox kicked 3 goals from Centre Half Forward.
2010 Steinmuller Construction Toowoomba Crows Captains Keith Neumann and Kyle Smith, along with 2010 Coach Keith Webb were presented with the 2009 Premiers flag, which will be on display at each Crows home game.
