Day 2 - Open Mixed: North Harbour Vs North Harbour-Northern

North Harbour dominated the first half with too much speed, skill and some strong defence, running in 6 unanswered tries. Northern could not get any go forward and wasted many opportunities at the score line.

Northern coach was not happy in the halftime huddle and his words paid off as Northern #4 Arihana Marino was best on ground for the girls scoring two tries and setting up another. Best on ground for the boys was Tommas Lemutton from North Harbour who scored four tries and helped his team fight off the Northern surge and complete a comfortable 11-4 win.
